About
Hey, I am terrible at bios, but here goes.
Originally from Bonham, Texas (a tiny dot on the map north of Dallas), I now live in Alabama with my wife, Jami, and our two dogs, Patsy and Fia. I serve as the Young Adults Pastor at Calvary Tabernacle, and ministry is my heart—especially youth and young adults. It’s the heartbeat of what I do. I’m a licensed minister, passionate about reaching and discipling the next generation to live out their faith.
By day, I work at Chick-fil-A, building connections and serving in unique ways. Outside of ministry and work, I’m a huge nerd. My hobbies include playing music—especially the organ—and reading a wide range of books, with a special love for history. I also enjoy learning random, useless facts—perfect for those late-night What-a-Burger icebreakers at 2 a.m.
I’m also a massive fan of J.R.R. Tolkien and have read The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings series at least ten times.
When I’m not busy with ministry or work, I’m on a never-ending quest to find the world’s best (or most questionable) Chinese buffet. I consider myself a connoisseur of sketchy buffets, and I’m always open to trying new things and seeking out adventures.
If you want to chat about ministry, life, or help me find that perfect buffet, let’s connect!
